Triple Dipped Fried Chicken

If you like seriously crispy fried chicken...the type that makes crumbs when you bite into it, then this recipe is for you. I love this kind of fried chicken. It's totally worth the extra dipping and the potential heart attack.

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

My go to recipe for a basic red sauce. However, I amp up the garlic. It freezes well and is quick, easy and versatile. This sauce is great on its own or added with meat.

Awesome Spicy Beef Kabobs OR Haitian Voodoo Sticks

I love spice, so I really appreciate this easy tasty recipe. Unfortunately, I am a city gal living in an apartment, so I had to George Forman grill these kebobs. I can just imagine how awesome these would taste if they were fresh off a charcoal grill.

Apple Pie in a Brown Paper Bag

Oh heaven in my mouth! It is more time consuming to make because of the two different crusts and the apple coring process, but it is so worth it. The two different crusts are just perfect. I have had apple pies with crusts that are too salty and it just ruined the pie for me. To make my life a little easier, I chill the topping (top crust) for 10 minutes just prior to step #5. Since it has a lot of butter, it tends to soften in my fingers rather quickly, so cooling it makes the pinching process less messy. I don't know if the bag is totally necessary because I've made it successfully both with and without it. But there is an element fun and surprise making it inside the paper bag. Thank you, Mamadellie. This apple pie is awesome!

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Sorry, but this recipe did nothing for my taste buds. I was intrigued by the variety of ingredients, since I like everything on the list. I made this with pasta on the side that just added to the confusion in my mouth.

Chicken Marsala

Quick, simple, and delicious. I have made this over a dozen times and it always turns out great. I made this for my boyfriend and he said it was restaurant quality. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
