Butternut Squash Soup II
Good soup! Even my us and who doesn't like butternut squash said it was good. I made it once with a pinch of curry and it overpowered it. The second time I made it as written and it was much better.

Apple Dumplings II
This was so good! I made this like a roll (like a pumpkin roll) instead of individual dumplings I diced the apples and rolled out the dough and put the apples on it and the placed the entire roll into a 9 x 13 dish and poured the sauce over all of it. There wasn't enough dough to cover the top of the apples and there were lots more apples than would fit into the roll. Even so dumped I all the apples and sauce in the pan. It wasn't pretty, but it was delicious! Next time I might make more dough to make it look prettier, but even if I keep it as written the proportion of apples to dough was correct. I did not use the food coloring. Who needs something artificial?!?

Spinach Basil Pesto
I loved this recipe because it uses spinach, but tastes like basil. I am too cheap to buy pine nuts so I used walnuts and it's still delicious! I didn't use all the oil because it didn't seem to need it. I also made it with sage and it's delicious too. The basil is better, but it's a good way to use up sage.
