Basic Broiled Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2012
Great idea! I broil almost all my meat now. It keeps the meat so tender and juicy. When you try grilling or baking chicken it's easy for it to come out like cardboard. The first time I did this I use skinless/boneless chicken breast and it was surprisingly flavorful!!(;

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2012
AMAZING!! Most delisious cheesecake I've ever had! I can't figure out any way to make this better. I tried making it in an 8"x8" pan just reducing the ingrediants an it didn't taste as good. This is perfect1

Double Chocolate Brownie Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2012
WOW!!! This is seriously chocolatey chocolate cake!!!! It's like death by choclate. Which some people (such as my little brother) would like. So I made it for his 8th birthday. And I used about a half a cup of mini chocolate chips in place of the semi-sweet because it was too sweet and gooey when I used the 2 cups of semi-sweet the time before. I also melted some caned chocolate icimg and spooned that over it like a chocolate glaze. That was realy good! I've also tried brushing a clear glaze over it made with powdered sugar, milk and a little vanilla. That tasted great!! This cake took about 5 minutes than the recipe said, but when you stick a knife or a toothpick in it ,it never comes out clean! It's probably because of the chocolat chips. So the best way to tell is to use a butter knife and if the melted chocolate make just streaks on the butter knife it's done. I hope this review is helpful. Try some of these icing ideas!(: Over all this cake rocked for the serious chocolate eaters.

Easy Crescent Taco Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2012
This is GREAT!! Delisious and easy!! I have been making this for a while now. And I've always followed the recipe to a Tee. It's my dad's favorite. But I thought it was a little sogy maybe because of the salsa. Therefore I tried draining a can of diced tomatoes and a can of green chilies in place of the salsa. It turned out to dry and with the tomatoes on top it was a bit over kill. I will use the salsa from now on. But I might try some corn or pinto beans! Yum!

Ginger Veggie Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2012
I just made this and the way I did it tasted AMAZING! For vegtable haters this is the way to eat them. I did it exactly like the recipe said except the vegtable i use was baby carrots chopped realy small, chopped celery, thinly sliced red and yellow bell pepper , broccoli, frozen corn kernals, frozen green beans and a little red onion. I chose those because that's just what I had. I only had 1 tsp of gingar. And I followed the advice of another review and added the cornstarch in the water and soy sauce instead of at the beggining and it wasn't gummy at all. Over all this was great, but in my opinion it was lacking in spice a bit. Next time I think I'll add some crushed red pepper, Will make this again. (:(:

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2012
This didn't work for me at all:(:( It cook on the stove while I stired for almost 2 hours. Then Ipoored it into a pan even though it was still pretty runny. I put it in the fridge and it stayed in there all night and the next day.I ended up throwing it away because it was gooey and clumpy:(.

Perfect Apple Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2012
This is perfect! I didn't have time to make my own dough,so I used a store bought pie crust for the bottom. And I toped it with a crumb mixture of 1/2 a cup of brown sugar,1 cup of flour and a stick of softened butter. Thanks Judy! :)(:

Banana Bread - Quick Bread for Machines

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2012
Best banana bread I've ever had. (-: I don't like the way my bread machine bakes, so I baked it in my oven. But I did let it go through the dough cycle. I put the ingrediants into my machine in the exact order listed then put a cup of chopped pecans in. After the dough cycle I baked it at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.(in my oven) Will make again!! (:(:(:
