Honey Key Lime Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2005
This was very good - I didn't have soy sauce so I used the closest thing I had - Worcheshire sauce. I marinated it for about 8 hours and I had scaled it down to one serving. I cooked it on my George Foreman grill and it was very good - this one is a keeper.

Cinnamon-Curry Tuna Salad Sandwich

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2005
This is actually pretty good though the combination sounded a little strange - I was stingy with the curry (I only used 1/2 tsp) because I wasn't sure how'd I like it but next time I will be more generous. I will make this again.

Mexican Layered Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2005
Delicious ! I took this to a baby shower and it was gobbled up - everyone kept commenting on how good it was. I added 1/2 package of taco seasoning to the beef and the other 1/2 of taco seasoning pkg. to the sour cream as others suggested. I also left off the green onions. One person told me that she had this kind of dip several times but this was by far the best one she had ever had. This one is a keeper.

Lemon Curd Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2005
This was very good - exactly what I was looking for. I have been trying to find a recipe using Lemon curd and I was wanting something like this. I left off the nuts and coconut only because I didn't have them on hand. I will make this again!

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2005
Oh my goodness! This is comfort food at its best. I just stumbled across this recipe and I am so glad I did. I accidently purchased creamy chicken noodle soup instead of cream of chicken soup but I used it anyway and it come out great. Also, to save time, I cooked the chicken in the crockpot while I was at work and then boiled the noodles in chicken broth. I loved this recipe - can't wait to make it again.

Candy Bar Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2005
I have made this several times and alwasy get rave reviews. I was looking for the recipe and realized I never saved it in my recipe box - it is in there now! My boss told me she doesn't like brownies but when she tried one of these, she ate 3 of them. She said it is the only brownie she has tasted that she really liked.

Slow Cooker Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2005
This was pretty good but I wish I would have read the reviews first. I also agree that 6-8 hours is too long. The noodles came out mushy by cooking that long. I will make this again but will only cook 4 hours as others have suggested. I also think I will add some sliced mushrooms next time. Make sure the meat mixture is the the top layer (this will keep the top layer of noodles from drying out).

Quick Gnocchi

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2005
This really was easy to do. I love gnocchi but I have never made it because I thought it would be too much work. I was wrong! I am going to make up a batch or two to keep in my freezer so I will have it on hand for a quick dinner.

Cinnamon-Curry Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2005
I didn't think I would like this (cinnamon and curry - together?) but it really good. Taste better after it has been in the fridge for a few hours. I will make this again.

Garlic Creamed Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2004
This was VERY good. I used cream of mushroom with garlic soup so it added a little extra garlic flavor, which I love. It seemed like it needed a little something else, so next time I think I might add some mushrooms like someone else suggested. Served with egg noodles. Will make this again !!

BBQ Chili Pasta

Reviewed: May 31, 2003
I thought this was really good. I used wagon wheel pasta and added a little cumin to the meat mixture. While I was eating it, I thought the meat mixture alone (no pasta) would be good for a sloppy joe.

Zippy Egg Casserole

Reviewed: May 17, 2003
I took this to worked and it was gone in minutes. Everyone loved it. I loved the pepperjack in this dish! The only thing I did different was that I only added the half-and-half and no milk (since I thought I had some but didn't). I thought it would be dry without the milk, but it wasn't! It was VERY good. Will make again. Four people asked for the recipe.

Chili Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2003
I have made this recipe 3 times now. It is very good. I don't add the hot sauce, instead I used Hot Chili with Beans that already has tabasco sauce added to it (Hormel). It is great comfort food.

I'm not a big spinach eater but I made this for work and everyone (including me) loved it. I do think I will cut the butter in half next time like others suggested. I can't wait to make this again!!

Biscuit Topped Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2002
I couldn't find the frozen scalloped potatoes either, so I substituted a 30-oz. package of shredded hash browns and everyone at work loved it! I also added some garlic powder and I sprinkled the top with Italian seasoning for extra color and flavor.
