Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2015
Very delicious chili! I made a few changes. Used 3 pounds of beef stew meat, 3 cans chili beans, left out the green bell pepper (don't like them) increased the beer to 1 cup, used 2 cans Italian diced tomatoes and 1 can of Rotel, 1 chopped jalapeño pepper, increased the bacon to 3 tablespoons, and added a can of corn. I kept all the seasonings the same. We're eating this for dinner tomorrow but I had to sneak a couple of bites before putting it into the fridge! Yum! Thank you for the recipe!

Cilantro Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2013
Great dish! My husband loved it! I took another reviewer's suggestion and added taco seasoning to the flour and cut the chicken into bite size pieces. I left out the cayenne pepper because my kids were going to be eating it. Topped it off with a little cheddar cheese, sour cream, and avocado slices! Yummy!

Amazing Mussels

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2013
These mussels are so delicious! I used onion in place of the shallots, red pepper flakes for the red chili pepper, 3 tomatoes, and milk in place of the cream. I used 3 pounds of mussels and threw in a pound of shrimp I had on hand. Even with just 4 pounds of seafood, I think I would double the sauce next time. Great recipe!

Skillet Ham, Cabbage and Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2013
Very good dish and my husband loved it! After sauteing the onion in butter, I threw in the cabbage, ham, chopped potatoes, a cup of chicken broth, and let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Once it was done simmering, I seasoned to taste with onion powder, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and pepper. We topped ours off with sharp cheddar cheese! YUM!

Mom's Creamy Tortellini Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2013
This soup was amazingly delicious and deserves more than 5 stars!!! I used milk in place of the half and half, only 1/4 cup flour, dried basil instead of fresh (grocery store was out) and added a 1/2 tsp. oregano. Love this soup and will make it again. Thanks for the recipe!

Very delicious, easy, and just a beautiful dish to look at! The chicken came out juicy and the salsa on top just made it perfect! I used baby spinach leaves in place of the arugula. Will make this again!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: May 8, 2013
Very simple recipe that makes very delicious and fudgy brownies! My husband isn't big on sweets and he loved these! I left off the frosting because I think brownies are better without. I'm never going back to a brownie mix again.

Italian Sausage Frittata

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
I made this for dinner tonight and it came out so nice and delicious! I did change a few things. I don't like cauliflower so I used carrots, broccoli, and fresh mushrooms. I also did about a tablespoon of fresh basil and didn't add the parmesan cheese till about the last 2 minutes of cooking. Loved this and will be making this again for sure!

Very delicious cupcakes! I doubled the almond extract and only added some of the caramel to the icing. I used the extra caramel to drizzle on top of the iced cupcakes! These were so delicious and I highly recommend trying these out!

We had this salad for dinner tonight and my husband went crazy over it and even went back for seconds! The only thing I did differently was add corn, avocado, and used cheddar cheese instead of parmesan. The dressing complemented this salad so well! Thank you for the recipe!

Pecan Pie Tarts

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
These little pecan pie tarts were so delicious and cute! I was a bit nervous about how the crust would turn out because I had a little trouble pushing them into the muffin tins. The crust came out so good though and was very light, flaky, and buttery! Next time I will double up on the crust though. Thank you so much for this recipe!
