Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
These were very simple to make. I also used 1/2 butter and 1/2 butter flavored shortening for a better flavor. I forgot to add a little extra flour as one of the previous reviews said but next time I definitely will. They were a hit and I will make them again soon.

Antipasto Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
This was so delicious and easy to make. I used puff pastry instead of crescent rolls because I like it better and blind baked the bottom dough for about 8 minutes like other reviews suggested. Everyone loved it and it was still good when it got cold. I will make again soon.

Aw-some Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
I don't usually like cole slaw because I'm not a fan of mayonnaise based salads but this slaw was great and tangy. The lemon juice and vinegar are a great combination. We loved it.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
My family thought this was great. I followed the advice of others to make sure and season the meat well and used gravy in place of broth. I used ground turkey instead of beef and frozen peas and carrots. I will definitely make this again soon.

Awesome Lasagna Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
This was very easy & quick to make. My kids really liked it but I thought it needed more seasoning. Next time I will add some veggies like the other review suggested and extra seasoning like garlic & more salt. Or maybe some canned tomatoes.

Simply Traditional Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
Lasagne was awesome. I added an extra 12-14 oz spaghetti sauce and about 1/4 c. water to make the sauce go farther. It would have been too dry w/o it. I used the recipe amount for ricotta since there was so much mozz. cheese. I wouldn't add more ricotta (as some reviews suggest)unless I was cutting down on the other cheese or it would've been too cheesy for my taste. Overall, I thought it was delicious and I will definitely make it again.

Rice Mess

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
My whole family liked it. I followed others suggestions to spice up the meat a bit with more garlic & some herbs. I switched the mushrooms for corn b/c my kids don't like mushrooms. I used shredded cheddar cheese instead of sliced.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
I love spinach salad and this one ranks at the top of the list. I followed others advice and cut down on the sugar by more than 1/2. I used balsamic vinegar, which goes so well with the strawberries and added goat cheese. The sweetness from the balsamic made up for the decrease in sugar. It was a big hit with friends and my kids.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
Tasty oatmeal cookie! My whole family loved them. We hardly had any left after they cooled completely because everyone kept coming back for another. They were chewy and delicious. I followed others advice and added 1/2 c. extra flour, 1/2 tsp. extra baking soda and cut the salt to about 1/4 tsp. I live in humid part of Texas so my cookies tend to spread out more when I use only butter so I used 1/2 butter & 1/2 shortening. This seems to make my cookies stand up better. I made my cookies about 2 inches each (so it made more than the stated 3 1/2 dozen). I baked them at 325 degrees for 10 min to get cookies that stayed soft & chewy even after they cooled down and did not spread out flat. They looked underdone when I took them out of the oven but I left them on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. They turned out perfectly! I will be making these again soon.

Easy & awesome! We also added 1 can of mexi-corn for an extra crunch. And a little cayenne pepper for added kick. You can tailor this recipe to your tastes very easily. Will definitely make this one again.

Slow Cooker Enchiladas

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2012
This was awesome & my family loved it! I used ground turkey, lower fat soups & only 2 cups of low fat shredded cheese to cut down on some of the fat & calories. You couldn't tell a difference - everyone asked for seconds.

These came out moist and delicious. I seasoned them with some basil, garlic power & onion powder to give a little extra flavor. The kids loved them - didn't even realize they were turkey!
