I've been vegetarian for over 14 years - more like a doritos & garlic bread vegetarian than a brewer's yeast, spelt berries & kefir type. After becoming pregnant and with my daughter starting solid foods, I've been trying to cook well-rounded vegetarian or pescetarian meals -- about half gluten-free so that dad can eat, too. It's a challenge, and I'm constantly altering recipes to work with our dietary restrictions and taste good, too. I'm about 25% successful.
My favorite things to cook
I'm still experimenting. Right now my favorite is the famous baked ziti from this site, but with a bunch of substitutions.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My cooking triumphs
I made gluten-free banana bread that actually tasted good. What???
My cooking tragedies
I still can't make eggplant taste good.
