The Best Parmesan Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2014
Used 4 tsp dry basil (didn't have fresh) Used classico roasted garlic and onion sauce used Italian seasoned bread crumb (didn't have croutons) used kraft grated parmesan (yes I know.. didn't have fresh parm) With all these substitution, it still tasted great! I can only imagine how much better it would tasted if I used fresh ingredients listed. One thing though is I would pound the chicken next time to flatten it out more so that there's more surface for the nice tasty crust that forms on top!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2014
Made 2 batches of marinade using 2tsp dried rosemary instead and cut sugar in half... enough marinade for 2kg of chicken breast... pounded to even 3/4 to an inch thick... grilled for about 7min on each side.. meat came out tender and moist...

Healthy Banana Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2012
These are great as is... I've also tried it with pureed frozen mango and strawberries (was out of banana) and dried mixed fruit - and they turned out great as well!! Next time I will try not using the oil and use apple sauce instead as others have suggested to make it even healthier..

Japanese Zucchini and Onions

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2012
as is, i would rate it at 4. however, as other have suggested, I used sesame oil and a splash of rice vinegar and skipped the teriyaki sauce. Also, it probably didn't need it, but I also added a tsp of chicken broth powder for added flavor. All these minor changes brings it to 5 for our taste.

Crumb-Coated Chicken Thighs

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
This is a very good recipe! As others suggested I increase crumb mix. I doubled it and it was enough for 7pc of large thighs. I also rubbed a very light coating of light mayo on the thighs first to help with crumbs sticking. I left out chilli and paprika for my 2yr old son but it still tasted great! I'm sure the extra kick from the chilli and paprika powder will be even better..

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
Great easy recipe. I tried it using Diana's gourmet Western smokehouse BBQ sauce - Awesome! It's great it uses tenderloin vs other fatty cut of pork! Also must have it with "Mom's Coleslaw" recipe found here by Denise..

Excellent.. I used package coleslaw.. recipe is enough for 2 x 1lb package of coleslaw. Taste even better after it sits overnight. Goes great with the easy slow cooker pulled pork recipe (using Diana's Gourmet western smokehouse BBQ sauce) here by Livie's Mamma

Chimichurri Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
Excellent - served it twice to family and friends before and they enjoyed it a lot and have asked what was in it.. I've made it using parsley and also substituted with cilantro... both are very good but my personal preferrence is with cilantro.. I also add a little bit more garlic as others have mentioned.
