Excellent and easy to prepare. I skipped the thyme, but kept everything else the same. In our permanent rotation!

Chicken, Stuffing and Green Bean Casserole

Good recipe. Even though I seasoned the chicken, I added sauteed onions and garlic. I think it would pretty bland without it. Will make again.

Heavenly Potatoes and Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
Excellent recipe for a cold night. It's a hearty and comforting dish. I would have given it five stars, but I added extra green onion and sauteed minced garlic for more flavor. The additions added a lot of flavor. I can't wait to eat the leftovers!

Blue Cheese Fried Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
I didn't LOVE this dish. I tried, but I just wasn't moved by it. I microwaved the potatoes for 5 minutes before cooking, but they still took 30 minutes in the pan. Actually, they still weren't tender, but the steaks were ready. By that time, the onions were cooked down to nothing. You couldn't taste them at all. The blue cheese melted and disappeared. Quite disappointing since potatoes, onions, and blue cheese are my favorite foods.

Antipasto Squares

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
This was very good, however I'm only giving it 4 stars due to the saltiness. I even left out the swiss and pepperoni! I loved the roasted peppers inside. I used a jar with red and yellow peppers. I'll try again using other deli meats and more peppers.

Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2007
This was my second attempt at making pork chops and this time they turned out juicy and tender! My husband coached me on the right temp (he's an ex-chef),which helped tremendously. As for the sauce, we used 4 tbsp and will definitely be adding more next time. I also added fresh cracked black pepper as the cheese was melting. Served with mashed potatoes, French-cut greenbeans, and a salad....very good meal. I will make again, for sure. thank you for the recipe. I needed something new to make!

Aimee's Quick Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
This was very quick and came out good. I used honey dijon mustard and took other review's advice and mixed it with the teriyaki before coating the chicken. I used thin-sliced breasts. After cooking for 25 minutes (covered), I added the bacon and cheddar cheese and cooked (uncovered) for about 5 more minutes. I added chopped green onions for som zip to it. I'll make this again and will definitely make extra sauce for dipping. Thank you for the recipe!

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2006
This was an excellent recipe. I've been looking for one like this for a while now. The wine gave it so much flavor. My husband likes spicy sausage, but was very happy with the sweet sausage this time. After cooking, I placed it on some rolls and added provolone cheese, melted them in the broiler, and YUM! Delicious sandwiches! Thanks so much!!

Baked Bar-be-Que Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2006
A delicious and easy recipe. To give the chicken some zazz, I rubbed liberal amounts of seasoning salt, garlic salt and pepper under the skin, before baking. The second time I made this, I forgot to cover it and panicked when I realized it. Not to worry, the chicken was just as moist as the first time. I believe the key is to leave the skin on as some other reviewers said. I removed the skin, then doused it with bbq sauce for the last 30 minutes. I added more sauce for the last 10 minutes of baking. To keep chicken from sticking, pour a touch of olive oil to a paper towel, then rub the towel onto the aluminum foil. This is a great help for the torture, also known as cleaning up. Will definitely make again in the cooler months when I can stand having the oven on. Thanks for the recipe.

Garden Herb Fettuccini

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2006
This is a quick and easy recipe. Perfect for weeknights. The base recipe is a bit bland for me so I added some yellow and orange bell peppers as the sundried toms and onion cooked. I also cooked the chicken in garlic and a splash of white wine. After mixing the cream cheese in, I added chopped cilantro. It really is delicious. The family loves it and I love that it's so easy. Thank you!
