Pecan Pie Bars I

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2012
This needs to be done in a smaller pan instead of a big cookie sheet. Husband loved it but I like more of a pecan pie filling... So cooking it in a smaller pan would help a lot!

Sensational Steak Sandwich

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2012
Incredible! SO yummy! I got a loaf of french bread from Wal-Mart, sliced it open and toasted under broiler. I put Mayo on bottome slice and layered non-smoked Provolone slices and broiled until lightly melted. Next, I added the well drained meat and topped with slices of cheese and top half of bread. I placed in oven at 400 degrees to melt the cheese. Cooked Mushrooms, peppers, and onions would have been delish, but didn't have time this time to add it. Husband L-O-V-E-D it!

Mom's Purple-Hull Peas

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2012
I used fresh purple hull peas from my garden. I also use more sugar, like 1/8 cup. This is VERY good. I use Tony's more spice for the seasoning. At times, I use a drop or two of liquid smoke.

I did like this... It is a shortbread crust rather than a sugar cookie crust. My family prefers the sugar cookie crust.

Baked Parmesan Tilapia

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2012
With the problems with not having a ranch taste, I used dry ranch with Panko bread crumbs with some Tony's more spice. I did not use cooking spray except on the pan where I placed the fish. Really good! Served with tartar sauce.

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2012
This is one of my most requested cakes! Some changes... I use a butter pecan cake mix. I don't use the 1/4 cup of water, but 1 full cup of Bailey's. I toast my pecans. I also do as one reviewer said... I put my glaze into the pan, then put holes in top of cake with skewer and place back into pan for 20 min. Very rich! Wonderful with coffee!!!

I used tomatoes and basil from my garden. This was very good! I had to add about 1/4 cup of sugar because it was quite sour and I knew my kids and husband would not eat it without the sugar...
