Original Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
Thank you! I have been searching for a wings recipe that wasn't so hot it melted the lining of your mouth! My kids don't like anything too hot, so this was great. A nice taste for us and my husband just sprinkled a little hot sauce on his before he ate! Very good!

Easy Cheap and Yummy Casserole

Reviewed: May 22, 2006
My family LOVED this! I doctored up the beans to our liking, and drained some of the juice off of them. Had no problems with leakage. Kids thought it was fabulous, hubby said it was a keeper! I served it with corn on the cob and a green salad. Very good!

Easy Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: May 22, 2006
This was ok. My family ate it and said they would eat it again if I made it. I believe when I do I will leave out the salt - it ended up being too salty for us -and add some onion, garlic, and pepper to it.

Grandma Flo's Shipwreck

Reviewed: May 22, 2006
My family liked this pretty well. It was easy to make. I reduced the amount of onion, added some garlic and a little bit of catsup to suit our tastes. Not bad at all.

Bou's Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2005
Delicious!! My picky son's first words were, "Wow Mom! This is great!" I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts, which cut the cooking time down. Also ran out of white vinegar, so substituted cider vinegar. Worked fine. Really good, breasts were juicy and tender. Going to adapt this recipe for my slow cooker!

This was Fabulous!!! I didn't have any walnuts so I substituted pecans, and it was still great! There wasn't but a tiny bit left after I took it to a Cub Scout Banquet! Terrific flavors. And the coconut was an added bonus. definitely a make again salad!

Potato Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2004
These were ok, but kind of bland. I think if I try them again I will add some real garlic and some onion. I also thought they were pretty thick, so I may just add the shredded cheese to the potato mixture and make a single layer patty. Basic recipe is ok, just needs a boost.

My family loves this! I add some finely chopped onion and garlic to the hamburger while it's browning because we like it. They will eat this over noodles, potatoes, rice, or biscuits. They ask for it every week!
