Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2011
This Banana Pudding is by far the best I have ever had, it has a cheese-cake type quality. It is my go-to recipe for Banana Pudding. On occasion, I use Nutter-Butter cookies in place of the wafers (from a recipe I found in Southern Living), which gives it a peanut-butter flavor, just depending on our mood! You MUST try this recipe and I thank the submitter for such a delicious dessert!!!

BLT Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2007
This salad is amazing! It is by far my favorite salad and I always get asked for the recipe. I do skip out on the Romaine lettuce and buy the prepackaged/chopped kind, as well as the microwave ready bacon.

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2007
This soup was wonderful and very flavorful. I did omit the spinach and pureed the beans (because my husband doesn't like spinach or beans-I just didn't bother telling him there was beans in it!) I also added a small package of cheese tortellini to the mix during the last 10 minutes of cooking. DELICIOUS!

Cola Pot Roast II

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2007
Absolutely awesome. Makes a wonderful gravy for potatoes. I did substitute beer for the cola, plus added fresh mushrooms. Delicious! Also, I assembled all the night before in a crock pot, then cooked next day, all day, on low. This is a wonderful comfort food! Thanks so much for the recipe!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2007
This was wonderful. Made it for my diabetic father-in-law who loves wings, but is restricted, served with wheat crackers and celery. I did not have enough hot sauce on hand, so added juice from jalapenos and about a tsp of cayenne pepper. Also, I prepared the chicken and cream cheese as directed, but threw everything after that into the crockpot. Was delicious!

Easy Grape Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2007
This is delicious. I will, however, cut down the portions considerably next time as it makes an enormous amount. Just like a fruit dip, just all mixed together. Wonderful!

Coconut Rum Balls

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2007
Absolutely delicious-taste like a Mounds Bar! One thing to note, I would be sure that they are ate before a few days, as the longer they sit, the stronger the alcohol becomes.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2006
I refuse to cook a roast any other way. I do add worcestershire sauce, minced garlic and occasionally I add mushrooms or omit the beer or add liquid smoke. I also add provolone or swiss cheese to the top and broil for just a minute. I also take the leftover and make beef stew or vegetable beef soup with it. Many great ways to recycle the meat. I also cook pork roast for pork bbq by this recipe! THANKS FOR THE RECIPE!!!!!
