Peanut Butter Cake II
About this Cook
Although I am busy with two jobs, college, a husband, cat and rotten dog, I always manage to try a new recipe a week!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake cakes! I love to make comfort foods, especially in the winter.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every week, I cook a big dinner for those I love and invite them over! I never get turned down!
My cooking triumphs
Learning to can speckled butterbeans and tomato juice just like my Mamaw used to do for me.
My cooking tragedies
Cooking my first ham was a disaster! They should really warn you there are TWO plastic covers on those things!

Banana Pudding IV
This Banana Pudding is by far the best I have ever had, it has a cheese-cake type quality. It is my go-to recipe for Banana Pudding. On occasion, I use Nutter-Butter cookies in place of the wafers (from a recipe I found in Southern Living), which gives it a peanut-butter flavor, just depending on our mood! You MUST try this recipe and I thank the submitter for such a delicious dessert!!!

BLT Salad
This salad is amazing! It is by far my favorite salad and I always get asked for the recipe. I do skip out on the Romaine lettuce and buy the prepackaged/chopped kind, as well as the microwave ready bacon.

Italian Sausage Soup
This soup was wonderful and very flavorful. I did omit the spinach and pureed the beans (because my husband doesn't like spinach or beans-I just didn't bother telling him there was beans in it!) I also added a small package of cheese tortellini to the mix during the last 10 minutes of cooking. DELICIOUS!
