Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips
I love this recipe!! I've probably made it half a dozen times. The first couple of times, I followed the recipe exactly, but have also "played" with it as need be. Once, I was in a real hurry and just did not have time it takes to do all of the cutting. I just used drained frozen sweetened strawberries and canned crushed pineapple (sweetened), then briefly pulsed some bagged apple slices with some maraschino cherries. Added a little raspberry preserves and voila... quick fruit salsa. I lay out long layers of foil upon which to spray and cut my tortillas, then shake them in the cinnasugar mix in a big baggie. This method is a quick fix, but the original recipe still rocks and is my favorite way to do the recipe when I have the time.

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies
Mmm-mm-mmm... so peanut-buttery!! Thanks, Kevin, for sharing this wonderful recipe. I have been searching for a good pb cookie recipe for years and years, and finally my search is over! These went faster than my choc chip cookies this year! I dipped a meat tenderizer into sugar to slightly flatten the cookies, and they had a wonderful appearance as well as a great texture.

Marinated Mushrooms
AND I DON'T EVEN EAT MUSHROOMS! August 20, 2003 from Melissa: I made these Marinated Mushrooms last weekend to take to a niece's college graduation party. What a hit they were! I don't care for mushrooms myself, but can always recognize a good recipe when I see one! I had at least 8 people make a point of coming up to me to tell me EMPHATICALLY how much they loved the mushrooms. They would say something like "I love those mushrooms you made" and I'd say "Oh, thanks, glad you like 'em." and they'd say something like "I mean I REALLY like 'em." It's not that often that people go out of their way to comment TWICE on the same dish! I'll definitely be making this one a staple of my "party dishes"!
