Italian Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2001
This is very good! Good combination, I added some frozen veggies with the other ingredients too, It DOES require more liquid In the beginning I added 3 cups of water instead of 2, and had to add additional liquid after adding the macaroni, anytime you put pasta in a soup it just sucks up the juice!!! Just be sure to watch it! thanks for a great recipe

Jambalaya II

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2001
This was very good, even my husband said it was good!!! He really doesn't like jambalay and he thought this was great!! I made a mistake and cooked the chicken and sausage in the crockpot and the sausage was too greasy, no taste, so I removed the sausage and added a fresh batch it was perfect! Thanx!!!

Having grown up in Springfield, the home of every type of chinese cuisine,(every business that goes under a new chinese place is born) THIS IS EXCELLENT!!! I have used a recipe for years but the sauce was not the right stuff! This one is!!! The recipe does not specify but you should fry the chicken pieces in peanut oil. Thanks Brad, this one is a keeper!!!!!

Monterey Jack Salsa

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2001
I must have done something wrong, this was not a big hit at all!!! It sounded great, maybe it needs to be made a day ahead of time to let the flavors blend. I have a group we always try new recipes on and not one person asked for the recipe.Sorry, I might try it again and add some garlic to it , and make it a day ahead.

Suzanne's Down Home Southern Dressing

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2001
I would have liked this better without the pre packaged stuffing, It gave it a stove top taste, all the other ingredients were great I still prefer a cornbread only stuffing, isn't it interesting how many different styles of stuffing there are around the country??? I will try this again making some adjustments on the breading, thanx!!!!
