Boiled Water

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2013
With my CHANGES, the recipe was a 5 star. The recipe as written is bland and tasteless. I used beer, then added some onion, and Johnsonville Brats. This really took this recipe up a notch!

Stuffed Green Peppers

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2013
I used a green and a red pepper, I steam mine, much quicker and easier and I prefer the pepper to be a little crisper! Very good!

Ultra Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2012
I always boil my potatoes in chicken broth, adds so much to the flavor, if you don't have cream use evaporated milk, I do not use quite as much cream or milk I just watch the consistency

I ran out of Cream of Mushroom and made this with Campbells Cheddar Cheese soup and it was delicious, a great twist to an old favorite!

Baked Moist and Savory Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2012
I added my own fresh cornbread and mixed the two for Thanksgiving. This was not well received, I always add more broth. This is great to use when your fixing a quick week night meal, not Thanksgiving

Cauliflower alla Parmigiana

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2012
This one is a keeper! Delicious and easy, grating your own parm makes a huge difference, I have tried the lemon pepper pankos but I do prefer the regular and add my own lemon pepper seasoning.

Clam Chowder II

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2012
VERY good, I cut recipe down to 6 servings and it makes ALOT! ONE WORD OF CAUTION, I added some celery and diced potatoes with skins on. The Potatoes need to be pre boiled if you add them, I had them in the oven per instructions and they did not get done at all!!!

Company Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2012
Pretty good, I suggest buying a more expensive Marsala Wine to use, mine was OK, but it was the only one they had at the store. A better wine would have made this dish better for me, not the recipes fault!

Butterscotch Monkey Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2012
Excellent flavor, not very attractive. Bit of advice, I have a similar recipe that is made in a 9 X 13 pan with the additions of nuts on the bottom, if you make this, it must be made very late at night or when u get up to cook them they will have risen to much. The pudding makes these like a caramel sticky bun. Mine does not call for any milk, but the finished product is almost identical. I made mine early afternoon for a bed time snack. I should have got them in the oven about an hr earlier. Very easy to put together, thanks for sharing, it was great!

Very good! You can also scale this down on salt and sugar and boil your corn on the stove. The grill always gives an extra flavor.

Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 17, 2012
These were good, need some added spice for our taste. Next time I would highly season the meat. I like to combine cheddar and white american cheese. The white american really adds something to tacos and enchiladas
