About this Cook
I like to cook I always have it all stems from my parents and their elaborate parties, which my mum did single handed. My dad said, hey lets do this! Snap! It happened! I've never done it on the grand scheme as my mum but I would take on the dozen for dinner. (someone would be on the dessert detail, as I can't do it all) lol. Today I'm over fifty, and my parties are smaller, mainly because I don't have the energy or the sprawling home to do it in. So its still amazing but for six people max.
My favorite things to cook
The whole deal... I like to plan it out, figure out the appetizers and the wine pairings, the cocktails, the soup or salad, the main course and all the decisions of that.. dessert, the selections of dessert (whether bakery or me) wines,port, or champagne.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to cook, and my friends and family they love to eat! It's a great combination.
My cooking triumphs
I have had amazing success on this site, I don't even do a trial run, I go for it.. Read it through and follow through, this is one of my favorite sites, and my triumphs speak for themselves. I always say if you can read you can cook.
My cooking tragedies
Desserts, really, I'd rather go to a bakery then try and do it the really amazing ones but I'm fine with crisps and crumbles, and pastry bottom pies only. Anything else that's really technical well.. that won't be on me.

Stuffed Ribs
this was good.. my mum too made this... but she didn't do rack on rack, she rolled them.. so they were rolled with stuffing in the centre.. i tried it this way because i had more then 2 racks.. very good.. thanks for the memories
