Hash Brown and Egg Casserole
I made a smaller version with changes to make it healthier. Omitted garlic powder as dont like for breakfast. 5 eggs still but double the milk which I poured over the top like a quiche. 100g cheddar and some crumbled feta. 5 hashbrowns crisped up then crumbled. Added bacon (on top under the cheese so it browned) mushrooms, tomatoes, rosemary and spinach, had some caramelised onions so threw them in, it was really good. Next time Im going to use 1 sliced chorizo instead of the sausage which will give it more bite and a drained can of cannellini beans.

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts
I started making a 1/2 recipe to find I had 2/3 the flour I needed so subbed cake/self raising flour and only icing mixture not pure icing sugar so my glaze didn't set so crispy (added caramel coffee syrup to add flavour) but Ive only had cc's cold and these didn't last that long. It made 9 large donuts which I made the bagel cheat way - roll into a snake, cut rounds and poke a floured finger thru the middle. Put on greaseproof paper sprayed with oil. Used my deep fryer and whist my oil was pretty fresh, they will absorb any flavors. Made in bread machine reduced my time. Set up a process line - 2 frying, one draining on paper towel, one upside down in a bowl of glaze then onto plate - didn't put over tray. As per another reviewer had enough for 3 bread rolls did 2 bagel shape (needed bigger hole as it closed up during cooking) with sesame seeds.perfect w smoked salmon
