Tried this recipe for the first time today... My family loved it! I have never been a fan of sugar cookies until now. These are GREAT. They did poof up more than I thought they would but still wonderful. I also tried using powdered sugar instead of flour to roll them out. Great idea. Gave them a nice sheen. Used a silpat to bake them. If they are sticking to your parchment paper or silpat, just let them cool for a couple of minutes before you put them on the cooling rack. YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE TO CHILL THE DOUGH BEFORE YOU ROLL THEM OUT. If you don't chill the dough, it will be sticky. I also noticed that the more I rolled it out, the stickier it got. Just threw it in the fridge and let it chill again. Good as new. This recipe is a keeper.
