Fruited Ice Cream

Excellent homemade ice cream! One of the best I've tried. I prefer smooth ice cream to chunky, so I used frozen strawberries and blended them with the milk in the blender until smooth.

I agree with the user who said this was like frozen whipped cream. The flavor was fine but the texture was all wrong. It was so light and fluffy, not near rich and creamy enough. I noticed several reviewers said they did not whip the mixture at all. Perhaps I will try it again with out whipping.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

We didn't care for this recipe. Hubby said the sauce tasted "funny" and I agree. I think the Italian salad dressing gives it a strange taste. I will continue to make slow cooker barbecue the way I always have, using a plain bottle of barbecue sauce without all the extra ingredients.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

I've made this recipe several times now and it's one of my husbands favorites. The meatballs are very flavorful and tender and the sauce is delish. I can't give it 5 stars as written because I feel it is way too sweet. I cut the sugar in half. Other than that, we love it! Makes great meatball sandwiches the next day.

Spiced Applesauce Bread

This was very moist, but I thought it was too bland. I followed the suggestions of others and doubled the spices and it still wasn't spicy enough for my taste.
