Good Ol' Alabama Sweet Tea

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2007
Absolutely delicious, teeth-hurting, tastes-like-home, sweet-tea. Just like my great-grandmother made it. I've cut down on the sugar these days and have even adulterated the holy brew with splenda, but this is the real thing bless your heart!

Sugar-Free Russian Tea

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2007
I've been trying to perfect a sugar free version for two winters now. This one is very good. I also tried adding some diet instant tea for more of a tea flavor and a few red hot candies for those who can have a little sugar. It rocks! Thanks for sharing.!

Masala Chai

So good and much better than the instant stuff. Once you invest in the spices, also much less expensive than Oregon Chai. Even better with ginger and more cardamon!

Pumpkin Oatmeal

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2007
This is such a great idea. I'm always looking for ways to add veggies to breakfast. I really like it both the way it's described and with the pumpkin custard that someone else suggested. With the custard, it could be dessert! Thanks for sharing.

Super-Good Oatmeal

Mmmmm! Quick! Tasty! Healthy! It's great just how it's described and lends itself to all kinds of variations. Fabulous Recipe, and I'm not even a big breakfast eater.

Spicy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2006
MMmmmm. Tasty. I also lowered the cooking temp - 425 and cooked them for about 45 minutes. They weren't as crispy as deep fried one, but they had a slightly crisp exterior. The second time I made them, I steamed the potato sticks until nearly done, then put them in the over for about 20 minutes. Much quicker, and they seemed to crisp up more. DH loved them! Great dipped in cranberry-mustard sauce. Just mix canned cranberry with a good quality mustard. Honey-mustard is my favorite. Thanks for sharing!

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2006
Good recipe. Nice pupkin flavor. Were a little heavy, but adding a bit of water helped. Letting he batter sit for a while improved the taste by letting the spices permeate the batter. I'll make these again.
