Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

I had promised an old friend fresh baked cookies when he came over for a visit, but when I looked in my cuboard we didn't have any flour. I had to substitute 1/4 cup of brown sugar, but my friend ate half the batch. My husband also loved them, and he doesn't even like peanut butter!

Best Beef and Broccoli

Too salty! We liked it, so I will make it again, but next time I will use low sodium soy sauce, and reduced salt soup.

Cracked Sugar Cookies I

I ran out of white sugar, so substituted 1/4C brown sugar and they still came out the most awesome sugar cookies I have ever made

Lentil Soup with Lemon

I used dried lentils, and naturally they boilded over, and then I thought the soup looked to thin, but I think the biggest problem I had with this soup was when I tasted it: it was so fabulous I wanted to eat the entire pot. Next time I think I will double the recipe!

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

I used Darlingdash's tip (3/4 brown sugar, 1 1/2 cups flour), and someone else's tip to dust off the extra flour before baking them. The result was so delicious I ate two before my husband caught me. That said, it's been a long time since I made gingerbread, and I forgot that they rise. My dinosaurs are indistinguishable from my trains, snow-people, and pine trees. I also had to put half the dough back in the fridge because it was getting too soft to roll out. For the rest of the dough, and the next batch, I will stick to more traditional, and less distinct gingerbread people, and put fewer on my baking tin.
