About this Cook
I'm a working mom and wife. I love cooking, when i get the time these days. now its anything super fast and easy, but i love cooking for others (it makes me feel so great when they gush over how good it is)!
My favorite things to cook
soups, mexican, thai, stirfry, light pasta, anything i can put broccoli in!
My favorite family cooking traditions
my husbands family makes oyster salad for every holiday, and it is the most amazing thing i've ever ate! saltine crackers and this special creamy sauce with oysters. its crunchy and salty, and i love it. it grosses so many people out!
My cooking tragedies
my first turkey! it came out fine, but my oven mit caught on fire when I layed on the door and closed it in! flames shot out! it was terrifying-no one was hurt and the turkey survived.

Salsa Chicken
This was tasty and easy to make, I served it with beans, yellow rice and warm tortillas! It was a hit!

Real N'awlins Muffuletta
This was excellent! I made for the gals at work on Fat Tuesday! I did subsitute black olives for the klamatas so my hubby would try it. I will keep this recipe and make it again and again!!!! The olive salad adds amazing texture and tastes!
