Great recipe, The dressing is perfectly lovely- I made it with olive oil instead of bacon grease which is much more heart healthy. Tasted great! thank you for the recipe!

Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2013
I think it needs more sugar- not quite sweet enough for my taste. I followed the recipe exactly except that I used frozen berries. The blending and straining steps are really worth it!

Tex-Mex Chicken and Rice Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2013
This was very good. I sprinkled the chicken with some taco seasoning ,and sprinkled with cheese at the end of baking. I did find it needed about 55 minutes to bake. As other reviewers did I also used a soup can's worth of water. The rice was perfectly cooked. I actually would have liked this spicier, so will use medium or hot salsa next time. topped with sour cream and chopped green onion.

brushed with olive oil, sprinkled sea salt, pepper, and some herbs. It tasted like the bread at Macaroni Grille. we tore off chunks and dipped in olive oil while it was still warm. It was really great.

Pizza Dough III

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2013
This is the best, easiest pizza dough I've ever made, and tasted better than delivery. As other reviewers have stated, it is a sticky dough and I did add more flour just enough to make it ball up in the Kitchen Aid with a dough hook attachment. I did use BREAD flour and I think it made a huge difference! The dough was light, tender and so delicious- I'm so happy I went ahead and bought the bread flour just for this recipe. Also, I did allow it to rise for about 4 hours. It definitely doubled, maybe tripled in size, and I did not knead it at all, just dumped it out on the floured surface and started pressing it out- it was very easy to work with. Thank you so much for this recipe.

Scotch Eggs

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
these are great. I took other's advice and baked these instead of frying. I made a point of making the sausage layer thin enough that it would cook through fairly quickly. I baked these at 425 for 30 minutes and they were nice and brown. Very tasty!

French Pastry Pie Crust

Perfect. I grew up on the crisco/flour/ice water crust- which is great, but this is better- more flavor, go this perfect crispness and then just melts in your mouth! Thank you.

Thai Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
wow. this is five stars and more! I followed others' suggestion and used 1/4 c. peanut butter. I used Target brand (archer farm's) Thai peanut sauce, the pre cooked grilled chicken strips from the freezer section, a boboli pizza shell, and I did add cilantro- it really tasted amazing. I will make this often and for company!
