Excellent! I made this lowfat by substituting ground turkey for the ground beef and sausage and omitted the bacon. I used a full can of beer....much better. Also rather than all that chopping....I used 2 bags of frozen diced onion, celery, green and red pepper mix. ...much easier. I took advice of others and eliminated the hot sauce, but it was still a little too spicy. After some research, I found that if you add 2-3 peeled whole potatoes to the chili and leave in for approximately 30 minutes and then remove and serve, it really does tone down the spicy heat. This is my new chili recipe!!
