i started cooking when i was still living at home and learned alot from mom and dad. i am cajun french and learned cajun cooking at early age. that is still my preference style today and i am 50 yrs old.

love going to moms house and helping with cooking for the whole family
My cooking triumphs
took culanary arts. and even worked in fancy resturant but was not really what made me happy. i am a nurse by trade and that is what i do for a living. cooking is second.
My cooking tragedies
was making a roux for the first time like 30+ years ago and left it alone for couple mins. (BIG NO NO!) i returned to a small fire and of course a ruined roux. second try not so bad, no fire!!
