About this Cook
I am a mother of two, nurse, fundraising event coordinator for a local non-profit preschool and volunteer auction coordinator for Seattle Children's Hospital.
My favorite things to cook
BBQ Steak - quick 'n easy! I also tend to stick with Italian based dinners. I will get into baking spurts, where I bake daily creating more than my family can eat, but then as quickly as it came, the urge disapears!
My cooking triumphs
Not over cooking water! (Just joking!)
My cooking tragedies
The time the entire skillet of homemade spagetti sauce hit the kitchen floor.... a very sad day!

Cuban Ropa Vieja
Excellent, easy and all stuff I always have on hand. I did add extra garlic and cumin because I LOVE those.

Jasmine's Brussels Sprouts
This was excellent! I've never had enjoyable brussel sprouts before, but this is a KEEPER! After trimming the ends from my brussel sprouts I cut an X in each one. Then while the sprouts simmered I sauteed the garlic. I didn't have the bacon so I used the left over Christmas ham, diced. Also added extra garlic powder. Followed the rest of the recipe to a T. Thanks for sharing!

Pasta, Broccoli and Chicken
This was good. I would have given 5 stars but I altered the recipe. I added a lot more pesto, garlic, thinkly cut italian kale leaves, and basil. Instead of chicken I used a vegan chicken alternative and instead of rigatoni I used gnocci. Thanks for a great base!
