Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

I have never made Irish soda bread before, much less eaten it, but I made this recipe & it turned out wonderful. I did take some other reviewers advice. I flattened it before baking & baked it @ 350 for sixty minutes & used all the basting mixture. I did use butter instead of margarine. It was good to know about the milk & vinegar instead of buttermilk as I went to two different stores just for the buttermilk. I've already had two slices with butter & our corned beef dinner isn't for another 5 hours. I will definitely make this again & I'll try it with raisins next time. Thank you to all the reviewers for their helpful tips. Great recipe, great site!!
