Gravy Baked Pork Chops

This is a recipe I have made since I was a young bride. I got it from my mother, who had to feed 13 kids fast. We also seasoned the pork chops with garlic powder. And sliced potatoes on top of the chops before covering with the soup. We put salt, pepper and garlic powder on the potatoes too before adding the soup. Perfect everytime. Also, I didn't add any water or milk to the soup, but I will try this next time. Thanks

Mushroom Pork Chops

I've made a similar recipe for many years. Just never tried it with onion. I also peel and slice potatoes and season them with garlic powder and pepper. Then top them with mushroom soup in the same pan. Very, very tasty.

Slow-Cooked Green Beans

I was in a hurry so I steamed the green beans as. I sautéed the bacon, then added the onions and garlic. I mixed in a small amount of marinara sauce. Then added the cooked beans. I didn't need the broth and forgot the cayenne or paprika. It was still awesome. Next time I'll try it the right way.

Roasted Lemon Herb Chicken

Why do so many people put everything on and under the breast and then turn it over? One even put seasoned butter on the breast and turned it over. Doesn't it all just run all over the bottom of the pan when done like that? I don't get it.

Golden State Mushroom Soup

Oh my God! This soup is awesome. I only upped it a few times. I added 5 cloves of garlic, no it's not too much, and added about a teaspoon of Italian seasoning. I also used beef broth instead of chicken. It didn't need any bouillon cubes. Just tasting it off the spoon when I was heating the sour cream in it, I could tell it was prize worthy. I'm thinking of giving up my steak for supper and having this instead. I originally made this because my husband didn't care for the mushroom burgers I made. Hope he loves this as much as I do. My mother reminded me I have to use vegetable broth if I want it on a Friday in Lent, like this Friday.
