My favorite things to cook
I am definitely southern, so all things southern. I like to try anything once, and if I like it I will do it again...I have never seen anything that I would not try to cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Always cooking, and sharinf recipes with my family on the holidays. We don't cook at home then take to each others houses, we get together and do all the cooking with each other while the kids anc guys do their own thing it is wonderful...
My cooking triumphs
My son's first birthday I tried to bake him a cake instead of buying it. It was a train, and I mean the entire shape of a train not a sheet cake with a train on it. I managed to bake it and decorate it quite nicely.
My cooking tragedies
My cooking tragedy was my first experience with an outdoor grill. I did not know anything about letting the coals get hot, I thought that once the fire was lit it was ready, so I started cooking. Needless to say everything was well done... I was only 15 at the time in my defense...

Parmesan Crusted Salmon
My family and I loved this Salmon. It is hard sometimes for ust to get Salmon around here(all we had for years was canned), but whenever I can get it I will be using this recipe. Thanks.

Parmesan Chicken II
This was great! The first time I made it, I only had chicken breasts, and it was so moist. I usually prefer dark meat, and after the first time I used the drumsticks and it was even better, because the dark meat has a much richer flavor. thanks.
