Tennessee Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2014
As a veteran meatloaf chef, this is a terrific recipe. I actually added more brown sugar to the sauce and added winch (Worcestershire) sauce plus sweet chili sauce. I never use loaf pans when I make meatloaf. Instead, I shape the meatloaf recipe on top of a foil lined jelly roll sheet. A 3 pound meatloaf with recipe ingredients approximates: 2" high x 5" wide x 10" long. Pour the sauce/glaze on top of this Bigfoot meatloaf, roll up the sides of the foil a bit to hold in the sauce and pop it into your oven. Thank you for this great recipe, Leigh Ann. We thoroughly enjoyed it here in Texas!!

Creamy Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2012
Terrific teriffic (no...not a typo) recipe. Instead of 2 cups milk, I used one cup of heavy whipping cream and one cup of whole milk. And because I had a box of Special K Multi-grain crackers in the pantry, I Cuisinarted (work with me here...) and used those as opposed to what the recipe suggested. This recipe surpassed our expectations! Trusty lovely dish.

Garlic Cream Sauce over Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2014
Terrifically easy sauce recipe with graceful taste. It added life to the grilled chicken. My husband and I enjoyed this sauce and grilled chicken over a bed of green beans steamed in chicken broth. My husband is not a fan of sauces and gravies but, surprisingly, he said "this is the best sauce I've ever tasted." He's right.

Easy Indian Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2014
This is a great recipe. I doubled portions of the garlic and onion, caramelized it all. Half went into the simmering sauce; half went on top of the chicken (I used chicken breasts) which baked at 375F for 50 minutes. My husband had two servings of everything. The sauce is remarkable. This recipe will make you an instant food genius.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2014
Today, I made this cookie recipe. The cookies are absolutely fabulous. This recipe turns out the crispy type cookie; the latter which my local grocer (HEB, a Texas-based private grocery chain) turns out equally terrific crispy cookies but @ 1/2 dozen for just under $3. Great recipe. And I will bake this cookie recipe, again. Ness In Texas

Quick Quiche

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2012
Terrific recipe. Typically, I choose to not add milk with eggs in a quiche recipe. However, the milk and flour (I blended these two ingredients together in my Ninja blender) set up a creamy confluent texture to the eggs and butter mixture. As such, I saw an opportunity to add in a conservative handful of fresh poblano and jalapeño, thinly sliced shallots, a couple more slices of swiss floated inside the poured in mix topped off with a good handful of freshly shredded colby jack cheese. My husband l o v e d this dish which performed as a side dish, this morning, to some fresh scallops sautéed in butter, garlic, basil and sweet onion. Bonus round: its all carb free, my friends. Thanks a million for a terrific recipe that helped clean out the fridge and meet our brunch needs this morning! Ness Orr in Houston
