Chef John's Minestrone Soup

This was the best minestrone soup I have ever had!!! I didn't use the cranberry beans because I could not find any at the store. Instead, I used a second can of garbanzo beans. I also used a full cup of the pasta. I have a VERY picky eater in my household!!! Let's just say that everyone finished their dinner!!
