French Silk Chocolate Pie I

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2012
Good recipe. Found it too sweet though. I would only use half a cup of sugar, using half of it for the egg white meringue. I would also make sure to thoroughly mix the sugar into the butter mixture so that there is no grainy texture.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
It was my first time making pie, and this recipe helped me out a lot. I changed it up a bit in the middle by adding the sugar and butter mixture into a big bowl with the apples. After covering the apples with the mixture, pour them into the crust. Then I took the other half of my pie crust dough and ripped of small bits of it, flattened them and placed them on top of the apples. Try to make them all somewhat the same size and cover almost all of the pie. It's okay if there are a few spaces in between the bits. Bake, and enjoy! Much easier and tastes wonderful!

Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
Great crust. The only thing I changed was the top part (on top of filling). I was too lazy to make a prettier top so I just ripped off little bits of the dough, flattened it a bit, and covered the entire pie with them. Try to cover as much space as possible, and it comes out great! Easy and quick way to make the top.

Strawberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
Very tasty cheesecake! I have made several cheesecakes before, but this is my first using strawberries. After reading several reviews, I increased the amount of graham crumbs to 2 cups, but my crust kept on breaking and crumbling apart even after adding more butter. Next time I would only use about 1 1/2 cups. I also only used 2 packages cream cheese, but for me it didn't have enough creamy cheese flavor. I would use a little bit less sweetened condensed milk, since it was a tad too sweet for me with the strawberry sauce. I baked it at 275 degrees farenheit in a water bath for about an hour, turned off the heat, and left the cake in the oven for another hour. No cracks, perfect texture and display. I used fresh strawberries and it was no problem! Would definately make this again with a few changes.
