Bacon and Tomato Cups

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
Great recipe and so easy to make. I added a bit too much bacon as I used the crumbles you can buy in a bag. I also used cheddar cheese and feta. I think next time I would just use Feta. Yum Yum!!

Beer Butt Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
Wow what great flavor!! And so easy to make!! I added all the butter and spices together in the pan and just put half in the beer can and spread the rest over the chicken. Unfortuanally my grill ran out of fuel so I broke the chicken up and broiled the rest of the time. So moist and yummy!! Going to make great sandwiches tomorrow!!

Easy Pesto

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
I would have never thought to use almonds instead of the pine nuts. I did have to stir some in at the end for looks. Tastes better then store brands and better then the ones at my farmers market! I will make over and over as I have basil coming out my ears in the garden. Just wish it could be canned!

Brownie Caramel Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
10 Stars!!!!! Wow I was so nervous to make this cheesecake with all the troubles in alot of the reviews. I actually read them all!!! I did cook the brownie for 12 minutes and added oil and a bit more water to the batter. I think next time I will let the brownie sit for a bit to cool before putting the caramel on top of it seeing it did cave into the brownie a bit. I couldnt find the wrapped caramels in the grocery store so I just used caramel sauce. I didnt have a problem with the brownie being over cooked or stuck to the pan. I should have made 2 of these seeing there wasnt a bite left in the pan!! Easy to make.

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
The flavor was definately there I just need to try this again to make them more crunchy. Maybe my oil wasnt hot enough or I didnt fry long enough but the batter was a bit mushy. The whole family still ate them all!! One of my all time favorites to eat.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

This was my first time making homemade brownies and I will never buy them in a box again!! The best brownies I have ever tasted. I lined my stoneware with parchment paper and then drizzled white chocolate over them once they cooled. I will try with nuts next time.

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
Where is the garlic in this recipe!! What a great easy way to make roasted red potatoes. I used just about 2 bags of the little red potatoes with the rest of the ingredients listed but also added 3 cloves of garlic. I sprayed cooking spray on parchment paper and roasted in the oven and the broiled them for the last 10 minutes or so to get them nice and crisp. Just perfect!!

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
A very flavorful chicken! Easy to make seeing you have all the ingredients on hand. I used the Taco Seasoning from this site and used homemade salsa. I should have pounded out the chicken breasts a bit cuz they took about 40 minutes to cook. Tastes great with the sour cream!

Holiday Chicken Salad

The cranberries give this a great sweet flavor while the celery and nuts give it the crunch it needs. Better when it has a good amount of time to sit.
