Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
Way too sweet for me and I only put in 1 cup of sugar. Maybe just needs to be omited seeing the jello would be sweet enough. Had to put more gingerale in to dilute it.

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

This was just ok. I think the bacon was too soggy. Nothing I would say I need to make again.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
Very easy to make and a great dish! I used the springform pan to make this seeing the tortillas fit perfect in it. Be careful when you go to take it out of the springform. I let the dish set for about 5 minutes then cut it in the pan and then released it. Otherwise I think it would all ooze out. I doubled the layers of tortillas and spead the beans on top as suggested in other reviews. Also used salsa instead of taco sauce. Just before I put on the top tortilla I spead sour cream over it then topped with more cheese. Will make again!! So easy to make it the way you want it!

Salmon with Pecan Honey Glaze

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
The pecans in this dish gave it alot of flavor and a great crunch! I didnt use the veg oil in the pan and used about half the amount of butter. I think it calls for way too much!!

Lamb Feta Peppers

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2008
I diced lamb chops and cooked it prior to stuffing the peppers. Used spagetti sauce and I think it would be better next time around with the sauce it calls for.

Grandma's Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
Just perfect!!! I used chicken stock too instead of water. Next time I would make sure the bacon is VERY crunchy when adding into the pot. Just came off the stove and so tasty. Usually soups, stews are better the next day but this is great!

Get a Husband Brunswick Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
This is a great recipe for stew. Wonderful flavor!!!! I did add too much BBQ sauce so next time I will follow the recipe amount. Didnt add hot sauce seeing not a hot fan. Definately better when it sits overnight!! I served with cornbread.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
Wow what a great recipe! Very flavorful! I added a bit more garlic and 5 chops and it was so moist! I did marinate the chops for about 5 hours and flipped the bag over quite a bit so the flavor would be on both sides equal. Yum Yum!!!

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
These were really tasty. I would have liked them a bit more crunchy. The only change I made was reduce the amount of butter by half and I think it was still too much. I also tried to Broil them for the last 5 min to get them more crunchy but that didnt really help. Just need to figure out the correct texture as the flavor was there!
