Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2003
This was very easy and good. I added about 1 cup frozen mixed veggies (last hour of cooking) about 1t dried dill weed as well as 1T garlic pepper and it had a wonderful flavor. I only used 1 can of biscuits and seemed to have plenty of dumplings. I'll be sure to use this on in the upcoming cold winters here in St. Louis!

Wisconsin Bratwurst

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2003
This was "ok". I guess I felt I could accomplish a 'deeper' flavor by poking these and just covering them in Jack Daniels Marinade overnight... though the onions had a good flavor -- sorry but hubby asked me not to make brats like this again...

Restaurant-Style Potato Skins

How come things so great like this are ohhhh so bad. Very yummy & perfect for football Sundays because they are easy to reheat or much at room temp according to the guys... Thanks!

Poppy Seed Poultry Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2003
This was really really good. I've never cooked with poppy seeds and only ever used dill of dip -- thanks for opening my eyes!!! I did use 1 soup can full of milk on the suggestion of other's reviews as well as about 1/2c chopped onion. Oh! and the topping I used garlic butter flavored Ritz crackers and my hubby who IS NOT a casserole type of guy loved it and actually ASKED for the leftovers the next day. This reheated wonderfully!!! Thanks so much so sharing!!!

Very good and easy recipe. Still looking for a recipe that is a bit more creamy but this one is really good too...

Restaurant Style Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2003
This was awesome fresh off the stove -- so creamy and much like Boston Market Mac & Cheese -- however, it didn't warm up very well after spending the night in the fridge -- A total keeper if freshly made but not for leftovers... Thanks!!

Snicky Snackies

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2003
Wow -- this was so easy and everyone in my family is addicted!!! I've made 3 batches in the last 2 weeks and I'm about to make a 4th!!! I didn't have any wax paper so I used foil sprayed with Pam and it worked fine.... Also I let it cool slightly and then separate the clumps to get no more than 2 pretzels or so stuck together.. I'm going to play around with it and see what else I can tossed with the pretzels & nuts !!! Thanks again!!
