Microwave Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2012
Forget the stove top method. This is SO EASY and it tastes exactly the same. No constant stirring or having to measure the temp with a candy thermometer. If you have a decent microwave oven with at least 900 watts, this recipe may burn the brittle. To avoid this, make a double recipe. Works like a charm. Also, when you add the baking soda, be prepared to pour it out onto the pan within seconds.

This is a great recipe, but i mistakenly put the butter in the preheated pans and put the batter on it w/o first melting the butter and it came out fantastic! i thought i had blown it, but no! all good.

Very good. I added one cup chopped cabbage to the oil and garlic that I had left over from St Pattys day. YUM!

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2012
I liked this recipe. I never made these before, and I have no recollection of ever eating a stuffed cabbage before, but I can say these were GOOD. My wife loved them. I also added the 2tbs. brown sugar and lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. All good. Its a keeper.

Four Egg Yellow Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2012
This is an excellent yellow cake. Perhaps the best. I followed the recipe to a T and it came out perfect. Make sure to really cream the sugar/shortening to the max so its creamy, not crumbly. Add the milk/flour and beat just enough to mix it together and then STOP. Do not over beat. Cakes get tough when you do that. Cover with chocolate icing. You will love this cake.
