About this Cook
One sip, two sips, three sips. TipsyCulinaryQueen is at it again, experimenting, creating, tasting, & sharing new & tantalizing dishes! It's all about amplifying your recipes w/ a shot, a glass, or a splash of your chosen spirit. Deciding what to serve in, on top of, or along side your favorite meals. And,inviting your pals over to join in on the fun! When it's time to write I trade in my chef's hat for a pen, notepad, & laptop to transform into QueensVoice. My books, YES! You're Published, 9 Provocative Right Brain Branding Maneuvers For The Everyday Scribe, & The Evolving Scribe are on Amazon. I’m also a romance suspense, thriller author, poet, & writer for hire at www.queensvoice.com. Under my 3rd hat, ShutterQueen Ink. I capture the angles, auras, ambiance & attitudes of everyday artisticpreneurs. blog.shutterqueenink.com I also enjoy kicking it up with ballroom & belly dancing, wine tastings, reading personal/professional development, art, drawing, shooting pool, & bowling!
My favorite things to cook
I'm seasonally inspired by the herbs in my garden, strawberry and peach season, and my favorite time of the year, fall! I also love brainstorming in the liqueur store at the myriad of mixologist possibilities (my blog theme is cooking with alcohol which of course includes my own signature cocktails) So I do not really have a favorite. I'm just excited at the never ending combinations of tastes, techniques, and textures that are all around us!
My cooking triumphs

My cooking tragedies
One laughable tragedy was my first attempt at a savory cheesecake. I've been experimenting with a lot of different flavors for mini dessert cakes and that's been going great! So I decided to do a combination of marscapone and cream cheese with a cracker crumb oregano crust. The bottom was okay but the top kind of erupted not just into cracks but craters. Filling needs some more work. Oh well...back to the culinary drawing board on that one :)
