Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

The original recipe is not very good at all. No flavor, a bit runny... I'll try something different next time.

This was really good, in fact my husband said it was probably the best shepherd pie he's ever had. I didn't layer the meat and veggies (peas, corn, onions, mushrooms and green beans,) rather mixed them all up and sauteed them, but that was pretty much the only thing I did differently.

Classy Chicken

Kabob Marinade

Instead of pepper I used Montreal Steak Seasoning. Marinated almost 8 hours... made for some very tasty tender meat. Will use it again.

Easy Roasted Pork

This recipe is great. It turns out a wonderfully juicy, slightly sweet roast every time. (I've made it 4 times already... haha) My husband loves it and so does my two year old. I don't use oven bags so simply put it in a covered casserole dish.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

I made a batch of this the other day following the recipe exactly, it was my very first time EVER making caramel corn. Not only was it very easy (and affordable,) it is honestly some of the best tasting caramel corn I've ever had. I'll be using this recipe again and very soon.

Chorizo and Lentil Stew

This was simply too spicy for my husband and I, and we like spicy. I think if I had used a different brand/kind of chorizo this might have tasted really good. I may try it again with something milder. It's not going in my box as is however.

Green Bean Stir-Fry

I loved this recipe. We didn't use the peanut butter as I have a little one who can't eat it yet but I did everything else the same. This is one of the only ways I can get my husband to eat green beans (he's not a vegetable lover.)

Asian Lettuce Wraps

This was an exceptional recipe. I love that the seasoning wasn't overpowering but was definitely there. It was Gluten Free Friendly which is also a plus. We fried up some rice noodles for crunch and chopped some cilantro for a little extra for "topping" as well. Otherwise I stuck to the recipe and plan on following it in the future as there is nothing to improve on. Kudos! My family was impressed and they all asked for the recipe. My husband even said it tasted just like the version he gets at his favorite restaurant. This is going in my box.

Clam Sauce with Linguine

This was a great recipe. Like many others I added a little white wine and a tablespoon or two of sour cream to "thicken" it up. I also used unsalted butter at half the called for amount and used olive oil for the other half. My husband asked me to add it to my permanent recipe box. That says something.

Best Carrot Cake Ever

Mediterranean Lemon Chicken

Terri's Chicken Carcass Stew

My Fiance and I loved this dish. We were running out of ideas for our leftovers and this was the perfect change up. We don't care for hominy so I left it out and added a can of white beans instead.
