Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2003
My family loves this. In fact this is one of the few recipes that my son asks for over and over again.

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2006
Wonderful flavor and easy to prepare. I used stew meat and cut into small pieces. The whole family plus 3 extra 15 year old boys (dinner guests) loved it.

Osso Buco

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2006
Excellent flavor. I used beef broth for the water though and also about a half cup of wine. This is fantastic over polenta!

Korean BBQ Beef (Pul-Kogi)

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2006
Family loved this. I never have rice wine available so I used white, a tablespoon isn't much anyway and I didn't have any fresh ginger so I used ground dried ginger. Served with steamed white rice. Great!

Asparagus with Parmesan Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2007
We love asparagus prepared just about any way. I've roasted it before but never used the shaved parm and balsamic. Will definitely make it again this way.

Out of this World Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2007
I halved the recipe and prepared with 2 chickens. One we put on the smoker the other we put in the oven. The chicken was so moist and delicious both ways. I've never brined anything before, but now I am eager to try some other brine recipes on this site. Thanks!

Grilled Cheese of the Gods

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2007
My family loved these! I had to use ham in place of the bacon though, however, we like bacon so I will make sure I have it the next time I make these. The cheese on the outside is awesome. Thanks!

Crab-Stuffed Filet Mignon with Whiskey Peppercorn Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
This is delicious. We will save this one though for special dinners as it is also expensive. My family loved the sauce so much they poured it over everything on their plate. This does take quite a bit of time to prepare, but definitely worth the time and effort

Grill Dough

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
The cooking method of this recipe is what sets it apart from other pizza dough recipes. The dough is just basic pizza dough, and very good by the way. Don't know why I never tried baking pizza on the grill, it's GREAT! We made 4 small pizzas. We cooked one side and brought them in to assemble the toppings on the cooked side, then they went back on the grill to finish. The texture of the crust was perfect, crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. These do cook quick and therefore can burn very quick. I stayed with them and using 2 spatulas rotated them around frequently to evenly cook the crusts.

Greek Style Garlic Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
This had great flavor. I think the amount of olive oil was a bit excessive so next time I will cut back on it. Otherwise a good recipe.

Rainbow Pasta Salad II

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2014
Great basic pasta salad recipe. Your dressing choice obviously plays a big part in the flavor of this. Be mindful of that when selecting. I chose a restaurant's dressing that I really like that is sold in the grocery store.

Easiest Teriyaki Marinade Ever

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2003
This is exactly what the name says it is, but it should also include best tasting also. I have used this so many times on different types of meat and the flavor is great. I do not use the cinnamon though, I increase the garlic to 1 1/2 teaspoons.

Brandied Shrimp with Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2006
Excellent pasta dish! The combination of flavors are great. We liked that it was a light sauce rather than a heavy cream laden sauce for a change. I've made this many times. Some changes I've made are using bowtie pasta. The shape holds the sauce and mixes with the shrimp better. Also I've mixed shrimp and scallops and it is equally great.

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2006
Delicious, quick and very easy. The sauce is light and just enough sweetness to enhance, not overpower the flavor of the pork. The cooking time was perfect too, I started with room temperature chops that were about 3/4" thick. We will making this one again. Thanks

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
Few ingredients, quick prep and tastes delicious...that definitely earns 5 stars in my book! I even used about half the amount of breadcrumbs (to cut back on the carb count) and they were great.

Sauteed Garlic Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2006
I haven't found an asparagus recipe yet that I haven't liked. I LOVE asparagus so this earned 5 stars just because of that. But because my son liked it and he is not a fan of asparagus, this deserves extra points. The cooking method is just as simple as steaming it, but the garlic flavor was an extra bonus. One change I did make, I always saute with olive oil instead of butter (it's better for you). Thanks!
