Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This is a great recipe! The ingredients are similar to a beef brisket recipe that I have which includes Itallian salad dressing (I use about a 1/2 cup of dressing) The dressing adds a bit of zing to the gravy. I also brown the meat first.

Apple Maple Crumble Pie

My husband and son liked this better than I did, although I thought it was OK. I followed other reviewers suggestions about cutting the maple syrup in half. Apparently the apples I used were very tart so I could have used the full amount of syrup to sweeten it up. I will try this one again.

Garlic Chicken

This is a great recipe. Not many ingredients, easy to prepare and great flavor and aroma. It doesn't get any better than that. The only change I will make next time is to pound the chicken breast flat. I find the chicken is more tender that way and it cooks more evenly since you don't have one end thicker than the other.

Baked Apples

This is a really good baked apple recipe. It definitely takes more than 15 minutes to bake these. (takes at least 30 minutes) Covering foil helps cook faster. Iv'e made this many times with great results. The last time I made them, I sliced the apples and tossed with brown sugar, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of flour. Place in a baking dish, cover with foil and bake for approx. 30 to 45 minutes. It's like apple pie without the crust. Delicious!!

Mushroom Pork Chops

The sauce is good on this. I only gave it three stars because the pork chops were dry and tough, but I don't have good luck with pork chops. I'll try this again with a different cut of pork chop.

Easiest Teriyaki Marinade Ever

This is exactly what the name says it is, but it should also include best tasting also. I have used this so many times on different types of meat and the flavor is great. I do not use the cinnamon though, I increase the garlic to 1 1/2 teaspoons.

Baked Pork Chops I

This is a very good recipe. I am only giving it 4 stars because not everyone in my family liked it. We all liked the flavor, but my son doesn't like pork chops. So I'm saving my 5 star ratings for whenever I find a pork chop recipe he likes.

House Fried Rice

This was really good. I didn't put in any of the meat only because I made Teryaki pork to go with this. And I didn't use the celery and bell pepper because my son doesn't like them. I just wanted a basic fried rice recipe and this one worked well. Had great flavor. Family loved it. **UPDATE** Just made this again but this time I put in the shrimp and chicken. I still left out the celery & green pepper though, don't like that in fried rice. This is a great recipe!

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

I wanted to give this 4 stars since I liked everything about it. My family would like more salt (they like salty food) and my son would like less sour cream. I'll make those changes next time. I took the advice of other reviewers and used less milk. They were plently creamy. Next time I may not use any milk.

Amish Meatloaf

The only thing we didn't like about this was the sauce on top. Next time I make this I will omit the vinegar (you could tell it was in there)and make less of the sauce. Otherwise flavor and texture were great.
