This is delicious. The flavor of the spice blend with the lamb is wonderful. We will make this again for sure.

Molten Chocolate Cakes With Sugar-Coated Raspberries

Reviewed: May 13, 2006
This was good, glad I tried it but not sure that I would make it again. Definitely for chocolate lovers, and we are, and I thought I would like the soft runny center, but it just felt like I was eating cake that wasn't quite done yet, even though I know it's supposed to be like that.

Tasty Tender Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: May 13, 2006
This one is difficult to rate as my husband gave it a 5 and my son and I gave it a 3. My son and I don't care for the taste of honey and this had a strong taste of honey. However, the cooking method produced a very tender and juicy roast and I don't usually have good luck with pork. So, I will try this again and reduce the honey to perhaps 1/4 to 1/2 cup and if that doesn't work maybe I'll try maple syrup instead. The sweetness of the sauce did compliment the pork, it was just the honey flavor that was the problem. I took the advice of JeannieBeannie and used the "Russian Style Creamy Salad Dressing" recipe from this site too.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Reviewed: May 9, 2006
Excellent. We ate this as sandwiches on french bread with marinated cherry tomatoes also from this site and a glass of white wine. My son commented that is was like something you would get from a deli. Update to original review: I make this all the time but I now I always add a can of crushed tomatoes too. They add flavor and body to the sauce. We love this recipe.

Baklava

Reviewed: May 7, 2006
This is way too easy to make! I cut the recipe in half (don't need a full tray of this laying around) and it seemed a little dry, so next time I think I'll just make the full amount of syrup. Even dry, this gets 5 stars.

Classy Chicken

Reviewed: May 7, 2006
Family loved this, however, I forgot to buy a zucchini and I forgot to add the sour cream. I did have to add a full cup of chicken broth too. I will be making this again with all the ingredients.

Nothing special. I also didn't like the texture of the sesame seed.

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: May 4, 2006
This is a wonderful soup. Easy to prepare and great flavor too. Just like a Minestrone with sausage. Next time I make it I will add some orzo.

Didn't like this at all. I don't care for red cabbage though, but thought I would try it anyway.

Cream of Asparagus Soup I

Reviewed: May 2, 2006
Excellent! And easy. I reserved the tops of the asparagus and steamed slightly then added them just before serving so that there were pieces of asparagus in the soup. I forgot about the potato, not sure what one potato does anyway. It seemed like a lot of pepper, but the flavor went well in the soup. Thanks!

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2006
This is very good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is a bit too salty, but probably using low sodium soy sauce will help. I will make it again though, my family liked the flavor of the sauce and if was very easy to make.

Nothing special. I have another recipe similar to this that I like better. I'll stick to that one. Thanks.

Chicken with Asparagus and Roasted Red Peppers

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2006
This didn't do it for me. Yes, it is very healthy, I guess I don't care much for poached chicken. And the cooking time is way too long for a chicken breast. I cooked them for maybe 5 minutes before adding the asparagus not 15 minutes as stated in the recipe. I won't be making this again.

Chicken with Mushrooms, Prosciutto, and Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2006
This was just okay. I prefer chicken breast so I used them instead of thighs. We also sprinkled parmesan cheese on top when they came out of the oven for extra flavor. I will try them again though and add some additional seasoning. If you use breasts it cuts the cooking time down to about 20 minutes. Pound them flat and just lay the prosciutto on top.

Awesome! This will be my shortbread recipe from now on. Very flakey and just the right amount of sweetness. Don't change a thing.

Sauteed Garlic Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2006
I haven't found an asparagus recipe yet that I haven't liked. I LOVE asparagus so this earned 5 stars just because of that. But because my son liked it and he is not a fan of asparagus, this deserves extra points. The cooking method is just as simple as steaming it, but the garlic flavor was an extra bonus. One change I did make, I always saute with olive oil instead of butter (it's better for you). Thanks!

This was definitely different. The flavor combination was good, however my family didn't like it enough to make it again. Thanks anyway.
