Buttermilk Pancakes II

These are very light and fluffy. I added a bit of cinnamon, always do, we like pancakes that way. I'll make these again.

Dark Molten Chocolate Cakes

These are the bomb! And super simple. I tried another Molten Chocolate Cake recipe from this site but didn't like them as well as these. The soft center of these seemed more like a pudding rather than a runny undercooked cake.

Famous Butter Chicken

What's not to like with "buttery" crackers and a stick of butter in the recipe. This was very good. All of that said...I'll make this again! I'll cut back on the butter though.

Southwestern Style Chalupas

This version gets 3 stars. Using the complete advise of the reviewer "I'm not stupid I know things" it receives 5 stars (thanks for the advise!) My family likes a lot of flavor in their food and the additions to the original recipe make all the difference.

Beef Wellington

The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because I just don't like pate. I know that pate is standard with Beef Wellington, and I hoped my taste had changed, unfortunately, no chance. We scraped the pate off the leftovers and made sandwiches the next day...now those were good!

I have a small family so I use chicken thighs only instead of a whole chicken. It took way longer than the recipe stated to reduce the sauce. However, the flavor was great. Will make this again.

Springfield Style Cashew Chicken I

It's been many years since I've eaten Cashew Chicken like this and I don't remember the sauce having so much pepper. If I make this recipe again I will cut the pepper in half. We liked the chicken though.

Almond-Crusted Halibut Crystal Symphony

This is definitely a 5 star recipe even though I overcooked the fish a bit. Yes the sauce is fussy, uses a lot of dishes and takes some time to prepare, if you're looking for a recipe for a "special" dinner, it is worth the time and effort. Next time I will saute the fish for 2 minutes per side, 3 minutes was too long. And by the way, half and half works just fine for the heavy cream, considering beurre blanc typically doesn't have cream anyway. I'm also going to try this with other fish varieties. Thanks!
