This was ok, next time though I am going to use butter instead of the shortening and add in some ginger and allspice for some added flavor. Also as another mentioned will be using cream cheese icing or maybe caramel icing.

Concord Grape Pie I

Wonderful and delicious. I did reduce the amount of sugar as we love a tart pie. I found it very relaxing removing the skins from the pulp. Was a very easy pie to make but is time consuming so make sure you have plenty of time on your hands. The work is well worth the effort.

Baked Swiss Steak

I have been making this for many years is a familiy favorite and comes out perfectly tender and delicious every time, Is a no fail recipe. Terrific served with homemade noodles.

Buttermilk Honey Wheat Bread

Wonderful bread recipe. I bake for the public and this is the recipe I use perfect every time! I of course multiply the recipe and never have had trouble with it. I am an old fashioned type baker.. no bread machines here. Is easy to work with by hand the old fashioned way.

Brown Sugar-Rum Pound Cakes

A wonderful flavorful cake, terrific texture and perfect glaze. Have been selling this cake for a few years already. My customers keep comming back for more. That to me says it all. Is one great tasting cake.

Sweet and Sour Fish

Ecellent recipe. I was looking for something different than the same chicken, pork or shrimp sweet sour. It was very easy to make. We love this and will be repeated again! Thanks for the recipe.
