Cinnamon Raisin Bread I

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
With a little effort I was able to convert this to a single loaf recipe for my bread machine, after trying a couple of disappointing bread machine recipes for cinnamon bread. We just had our first (warm!) slices and are more than pleased with how it turned out. I used an earlier suggestion of half whole wheat flour and it's so delicious. Thanks for posting!

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2012
I've only had jambalaya once before (in a restaurant) but liked it enough then to try this recipe. I don't know about "authentic" as I'm a yankee, but it sure is delicious!! Andouille sausage was way too spendy so I used kielbasa - and I cut the cayenne in half. I used "Cajun seasoning" I had on the shelf. In the last 10 minutes I folded in (1-2/3 cup dry) cooked rice and it was just the right amount to soak up some of the juices. The flavor is so wonderful, and this is a recipe I will be making on a regular basis. Thanks!!
