Famous Meatballs

I really enjoyed this recipe. I think it needed spiced up some so the next time I make it I will be adding red pepper flakes for some heat.

Irish Chicken and Dumplings

This was so GOOD! I did not cook the chicken for 1 1/2 hours though. I threw the vegetables and chicken together and cooked through then added the soup--did use 3 cans of soup. I made the entire amount of dumpling mix. I'm glad I did because there was a lot of stew leftover and I reheated to boiling and made the rest of the dumplings to go with it. Very, very delicious!

Spinach Brownies

I loved this recipe but of course I changed it. I sauteed onion and mushrooms in olive oil instead of butter. I added a pkg of ranch dressing mix with the dry ingredients and I also added bacon crumbles at the end (didn't use butter in the batter either). It turned out absolutely delicious! Will be making again.

Simple BBQ Ribs

I have never before made ribs but decided to give it a go after seeing this recipe. They were absolutely FABULOUS! I baked them for about an hour and 15 min. which was a little too long but they still turned out wonderful!!! I will definitely be making this recipe again.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Absolutely the BOMB!!! I made the recipe exactly as is and it was wonderful! I baked the roast for an hour and it actually came out rare (which I love anyway) so the next time I will probably leave it in a little longer for the more squeamish members of my family (lol). As for me, it's my new favorite!!!

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

I used this as a basic recipe to get me started. I made mine with hot sausage and hamburger mixed. I already had leftover cooked rice so I used that. I also used spaghetti sauce instead of tomato soup for a richer taste. They were a hit! Turned out fantastic! I also used the microwave trick with the cabbage and it worked wonderfully!

Brownie Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

I made this recipe in a 9x13 glass dish with a normal brownie mix and made it exactly as written and it was FABULOUS!!!!! So easy. I didn't need a pan of water in the oven. It didn't crack at all. It came out perfectly and was absolutely delicious!!!!! My daughter is already asking me to make it again for Christmas.

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

I made this recipe last night. I increased the flour to 2 3/4 cups and used 1 1/2 cups of peanut butter. I also baked them at 350 for 10 minutes and they were PERFECT!!!!

Mexican Pot Roast

I have to admit I did not prepare as directed. Made substitutions according to what was in my cupboard but this was absolutely DELISH!!! We used the meat in soft tacos and my boyfriend said it was a hit!!

Meatball Nirvana

These were fantastic meatballs! I used ground turkey and doubled the recipe and had no leftovers. The spices were perfect with the ground turkey. I'm interested to try this with ground beef, also. Will definitely use this recipe again.

This was a good recipe. I think I roasted my turkey for about 30 min. too long but it still turned out great. This did make a ton of drippings which I throw out so I may not use as much broth next time.

Ginger Steak

I made this last night and it was FANTASTIC! I omitted the lemon juice only because I didn't have any on hand. I let the steaks marinate for only 30 minutes before cooking and still the flavor was awesome. I did make a 2nd batch to use as steak sauce and am so glad I did! This was an absolute hit and I will be using this again and again! Thank you!

Polenta with Spicy Sausage-Veggie Sauce

I could not find polenta so I made cornmeal mush to which I added cheese, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper. The sausage mixture was absolutely fantastic! Will definitely make this dish again!

Absolute Best Liver and Onions

Soaking the liver in milk is absolutely the way to go. I love liver anyway but I could definitely tell the difference. I also cook my liver medium to medium-rare which keeps it tender. Loved this recipe!

Haddock Bubbly Bake

I loved this recipe and so did my family. Even my 15 month old grandson gobbled it down. I did sautee the onions and I added a bag of california mix veggies. Served over garlic mashed potatoes. Definitely making again!
