Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2013
These pancakes tasted ok but they were way to thin. The batter was real thin. I checked the recipe to make sure I did it right. I did everything right. I might try this again and try adding a 1/4 cup more flour.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2010
I made this for my inlaws. I made regular baked potatoes and twice baked potatoes. Everyone loved the twiced baked potatoes. I used the huge baking potatoes. I didn't use as much green onion as it called for because a lot people do not like onion. I will definately make again.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
I fixed this the other night. It was okay. Nothing like everyone is raving about. However I didn't fix it exactly like the recipe. I did it like the most rated reviewer did. It was very bland. My 18 year old couldn't eat it. I might try it again just like the recipe but I'm not sure.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2008
These are really really good. I baked mine in the oven in a glass baking dish. Next time I will spray the dish with cooking spray because they did stick. I doubled the amount of cayenne because I like it hot! I cooked a whole big bag of drummies and they were all eaten that night!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
This is the easiest cheesecake I have ever made! I love it! I goofed and mixed everything together. Delicious! The second time, I did it the right way and it was delicious. Either way is great! I cooked it in a water bath for 30 minutes. Turned off the oven and left it in the oven for one hour. Beautiful! No cracks! Thanks for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
I love the way the chicken cooks up in the crock pot! A whole package of seasoning mix is to much. It makes it way to salty and I like salt! Next time, I think I will try half a package.

Baker's Secret Pie Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
I am giving this recipe a 5 because it taste so good. I think some of the problems I had was due to inexperience. I had problems with it crumbling too much. If you tried to wrap it in foil it fell apart. I used butter flavored Crisco sticks because it is so much easier to measure. I used the distilled white vinegar and it didn't have a bitter wangy taste.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
I made this pie for Thanksgiving. I only used 6 Granny Smith apples because I thought they were large. Next time I will use 8. I didn't use nutmeg, vanilla, or cinnamon when I cooked the filling as some had suggested because I forgot. When I remembered, I sprinkled cinnamon and nutmeg on the apples. I added vanilla to my syrup after cooking it because it thickened to much. Next time I will get my crust and apples ready. The finished product was beautiful! A little tart. This was my first apple pie. I will make this again. Next time I will slice apples thinner and be sure to put cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla in the syrup as I am cooking the syrup.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
This Lasagna was good, but way to salty. I will try again using 2 teaspoons of salt. I will probably use cottage cheese instead of ricotta cheese because my 15 year old does not like the texture of ricotta.

Cheesy Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2006
I do not like green bean casserole. after reading other reviews I decided to try it. It came out a soupy mess. I used 2 cans of french style green beans. If I try again, I think I will use cut green beans. Maybe 3 cans of green beans and 2 cans of onions. I was disappointed in this recipe.
