Butter Snow Flakes

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2003
These are the best cookie press cookies I have ever made. I omitted the zest and added a bit more cinnamon as suggested by other reviewers. I used the disk that I thought most resembled a snowflake and sprinkled them with red, green and white nonpariels before baking. They look so festive and will make a great addition to my cookie trays. Thanks for the recipe

Caramel Corn IV

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2003
this was a great recipe. Very easy. I made it today for a church halloween party tonight. Doubled the sauce and used 2 bags of microwave popcorn. Just the right amount of sauce of the popcorn. I baked it in my small roasting pan. After it cools will put it in indivdual celophane treat bags. Will make again and again. Good recipe to make with kids.

Ham Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2003
these are awesome. The recipes is a favorite and often requested when we have snack foods for a get together. Instead of wrapping the onion, I chopped them and mix them into the cream cheese mixture.

I did something a bit different with this recipe and it worked well. I diced the tomotoes and cubed the cheese. Served it in a bowl like a salad. Everyone loved it. Will make it again and again.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
thanks so much for this recipe. Talk about versitile. I have made 2 batches of this today. I was looking for a doughnut recipe and couldn't find one so I used this. I have a 2 lb size bread maker so I doubled it. I did have to help by stirring a bit. When it reached the top of the bread maker, I turned the dough into a large greased bowl to finish rising. I then rolled out the dough, cut with a glass, made holes with the lid from a karo syrup bottle and let them rise for about 45 minutes. I fried them for about 2 minutes each side in a skillet, let them cool slightly and then shook them in a bag with cinnamon sugar. They are wonderful I second batch I made into rolls for dinner. Will use this recipe again and again. A keeper for us.

Dried Beef Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2003
Made this last night for New Years Eve. Everyone loved it and there is very little left. I used a rye bread bowl because that is all there was at the store and it was good. The only change I made to the dip was I added 2 tsp of creamy horseradish to give it a little extra kick. I will make this again and again. Thanks for the recipe.

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2002
Made this for dinner last night and everyone loved it. My husband said it was second only to Anniversary chicken (also found on this site) but my kids thought this was even better than anniversary chicken. I followed the recipe exactly except I used freshly grated cheese. Will make this again and again. THanks for the recipe.

Cheeseburger Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2002
This was good. Not extrodinary but very good. After reading the reviews, I made some changes. I used small shell noodles as recomended. When I browned the meat, I added 1 chopped green pepper and a small can of mushrooms. I noticed that some said it was quite dry so I added an extra can of tomatoes and mixed a handful of cheese with the other ingredients and I used minced garlic from a jar rather than the other ingredients. I did everything else as instructed. My daughter decided that she wasn't going to like it when I was making it but after trying it decided that she had to have seconds and then thirds. She just asked for leftovers as an after school snack tomorrow. I will make this again.

Amish Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2002
I tried something different with this recipe and it didn't work too well. I did it on the dough cycle and baked it in the oven. I guess I didn't bake it long enough because the center was doughy. I outer pieces had a wonderful flavor. I am trying it again now and will bake it in the bread maker.

I have made it for potlucks and also for dinners to carry into people when they are sick because it is easy to grab and go. Thanks so much for this recipe

Chocolate Intensity

this recipe was not a keeper for us. The cake part was kind of dry and we just didn't care for the flavor of the cream sauce even though we like coffee. Maybe someone else will have better luck with the recipe.
