Light Oat Bread

First time I made this recipe I followed it to the letter, except that I used the dough cycle and shaped the loaf to bake in the oven. It was fresh and robust with great texture, and didn't have the visible oats that my multigrain-hating daughter dislikes. Trying it again today, using honey in place of the brown sugar for the change of flavour (and because I'm out of brown sugar). Delicious, this recipe is a keeper!

Chocolate Crinkles II

I didn't have any difficulty working with the dough, following directions exactly. I prepared the batter in the morning and refrigerated until afternoon, and it was easy to work with. The cookies are rich and fudgy. I brought them to a Christmas potluck at work and they were all gone in very short order, and I was asked at least once for the recipe. The only thing I would say is that they don't make 6 dozen, mine turned out closer to 4 dozen. But they are delicious, and I will be making again!
