I am a hands on cook. I don't tend to follow recipe the same twice. I like to alter favorites somewhat to who I am cooking for. I am probably a better sous chef then a chef per say--I love prepping food and a sharp knife!

Amazingly Good Eggnog
AMAZINGLY good is right! I don't even drink eggnog and it was delicious! Made it for a Christmas party and was so much better then I thought it would be. Did take note about how strong it was..so I did 2 cups of rum instead of 2.5cups. Added candy canes to be use with the drink and it was perfect as a stirring stick and tastes yummie with the drink.

Beef Stroganoff III
Great recipe. I also marinated my meat for an hour in red wine and the meat came out so tender. I also stir fry the meat in garlic and olive oil instead of butter first then transfer into a bowl. I sauteed 1/2 chopped yellow and 1/2 red onions in 2 ounces of butter with fresh mushrooms, garlic and added some chopped green peppers. I also omitted adding the white wine at the end since I had already added red wine earlier with the marinated meat. My favorite beef stroganoff by far!

Easy Meatloaf
Good start but I did some adjustment to the recipe. I sauted the onions, 2 chopped celery stalks, and garlic before I added to the meat mixture. Also added 2 TBS of ketcup, steak sauce and yellow mustard into the mix. For my topping sauce I omited the sugar and instead used 2TBS of the steak sauce instead with some dash of tabasco sauce for some heat. After I put the meat mixture into the loaf container, I added the sauce and then topped it with some slice of thick bacon. It was tastey!
